November has ended and December has started, you know what that means right? It’s Chri… time for my November food round up! A quick look at everything I’ve cooked, baked and eaten (out). If you want to see previous entries for an insight into how much I eat out and generally what I cook then see here. I’ll be mixing up the order of these each month, and this time around I’m starting with what I ate. As ever this is generally a selection of the best, not everything I actually ate or baked.
What I Ate
I was back on the meat after a completely veggie October, and the main thing I missed was Chorizo. So the first thing back just had to have that in it.

Where I Ate
A slightly quieter month on the eating out front this time around.
Ninth Ward – Farringdon
I met up with a couple of fellow bloggers and went to check out Ninth Ward. A New Orleans inspired bar with an excellent choice of beers it has a number of more interesting items on the menu. I wasn’t entirely sold on mine. What I ate: Chocolate Bacon Burger £12, Sweet Potato Fries £3.5 [Pic]
Bleecker St. Burger – Spitalfields Market
After going in October and having the veggie burger (which was pretty great), I had to go back and have my fill of a Bleecker Black. What I ate: Bleecker Black £10, Angry Fries £4 [Pic]
Honest Burger – Liverpool Street
After trying, and failing, to go to Hotbox (they turned us away with a half empty restaurant over worries they’d be “too busy”) we ended up at Honest Burger for breakfast. The best thing about this was the mushrooms. Get something with the mushrooms. What I ate: Honest Brunch £8.5 [Pic]
Byron Burger – Waterloo
The Cheesemas is back, so burger club gave out some freebies. You know what you’re getting from Byron, it’s a solid burger. What I ate: The Cheesemas £12.95, Sweet Potato Fries £3.75 [Pic]
The Book Club – Shoreditch
The book club has a host of interesting events, an all important brunch menu and a well stocked bar. Avoid the veggie sausages (they tasted a bit like pure vinegar), but everything else was spot on. What I ate: Cheddar Waffles with Mushrooms & Poached Egg £7.5 (£8.5 with Bacon)
Mildred’s – Camden
Veggie favourite Mildred’s has opened up in Camden. They were offering half price off food for the opening month so we went down to stuff our faces. We knew what to expect foodwise but it was interesting to see the new digs. What I ate: Halloumi Burger £6, Avocado with Tortilla Chips £4
Now bring on the Christmas Specials. FEED ME CHRISTMAS BURGERS.
Those WAFFLES! I don’t eat enough waffles.
